About the Sandler-Moore Mass Spectrometry Core Facility

The UCSF Sandler-Moore Mass Spectrometry Core Facility is located on the Parnassus Campus.  The Core serves as a mass spectrometry resource for the UCSF proteomics research community.  The Cores' goals are twofold:

    • Provide mass spectrometry service through collaborative and fee-for-service venues.
    • Provide mass spectrometry education through lectures, electronic media, seminars, and participation in formal university courses
    • The overall goals of the Sandler-Moore Mass Spectrometry Core Facility are to collaborate with researchers at University of California San Francisco, San Francisco Veteran's Administration Hospital, LBNL and also collaborate with labs in industry to collect the highest quality mass spectrometry data on biological samples.
